Star Wars and Disney

Was thinking about the Disney purchase of Lucas Films. It could go one of two ways and I seriously doubt it would land somewhere in the middle. One way has either a Christopher Nolan, Joss Whedon, JJ Abrams, Wes Anderson (Imagine Moonrise Kingdom set on Endor!) churning out fantastic movies that are far more Empire Strikes Back compared to Phantom Menace OR Disney churns out a series of movies that uses Wookies/Jawas/Bounty Hunters in TV Series where they are secret pop stars or they live in a Space Hotel. Christopher Nolan's Batman looks a lot like Darth Vader. Maybe make a Star Wars/Avenger cross over?

Thoughts on Trip to China

Recovering from Jet lag. Should be sorted out by tomorrow.

Here are some thoughts from the trip.

-First off Clear Me is well worth the price. Being able to bypass most of the security line removes one hassle from travel.
-United Airlines really needs to take a flight on another airline. An 11 hour flight with no WiFi, power sources or individual screens? It is like a crap trip in a time machine to 1995. On the way out they did show Moonrise Kingdom.

-China had an amazing combination of the most modern buildings I have ever seen with really ancient building that have been around for hundreds of years

-Was able to get access to Facebook & Twitter at first hotel. Was able to post to Facebook by using Instagram & Foursquare.

-Loved the streets snacks.

-I am no longer able to complain about Traffic due to a week sitting in Chinese traffic.

-Pedestrians do not seem to have any right in China.

-Did not enjoy the ride back from the Great Wall of China.

#firstworldproblems and the dumbest person at Grocery Outlet

One of the oddball things that I like doing is grinding coffee beans after I get a bag of beans mostly at either Costco or Grocery Outlet but sometimes, mostly when I go to Costco, I forget to grind the beans.
Get home, feel foolish and realize I need to remember to bring them to grind them.
Walked the coffee beans to the grocery outlet and let them know I had not purchased them at the store. Went to the grinder and saw that it already had some beans in it.
So I put my beans on top.
The Mac Hine was not dispensing the ground beans so I was sitting there like a fool. I was making a mess by scooping the beans out of the hopper. Eventually I got someone to help me. Turned out the previous customer had left the machine with beans going all sideways and such.
Ended up with extra ground beans.
This story is not as interesting once I retell the greatest blog...

The We in Baseball

About a month ago I went to an A's/Orioles game in Oakland.
While I was there I bought tickets for the last $2 Wednesday game of the season.
Turned out the A's made up a bunch of ground on the Rangers and the game was kind of important

It was really crowded but maybe I should get used to it as I will be going to China and I am sure the entire place is very crowded.

Lots of people who probably do not shout as much in their day to day life.

Question: Do you tip the people who delivery food in the stadium?
