Mortified, actually nervous...

I am actually a bit nervous about the show tonight. I remember hearing George Foreman would get nervous before a fight but then again I will hopefully not be punched by Bert Cooper but anything could happen.
Was looking forward to a slice from pie in the sky but they are closed.
Some people list public speaking as their greatest fear but that would be further down the list behind yeti/meteor/titanic 2 etc fears.

Chinatown Haircut...

Inception is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I need to get around to seeing the Prestige.
A few days later I am still thinking about the movie and the dream state.

It was like a cross between Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind and the French Connection.

Today was really foggy sort. Went into the city for among other things, a haircut which of course was in Chinatown.
Was wearing a suit (well no tie) because I was going to a Symphonix event at the Fairmont.
Turns out it was the hotel for a show called Hotel that looked awful.

On the way back, stopped off at Sugar and ran into someone from Team in Training

How bad are the Baltimore Orioles

Here are a couple indications of why the Orioles are Bad
-They are 16.5 games out of 4th place. Only 3 teams are more games out of 1st.
-They are only three other teams since 2002 that have had a worse record at this point in the season (2002 Rays, 2003 Tigers and 2009 Nationals)

Fred Containers and Pub Quiz Champs a good day

Sometimes it is the small victories that can make for a good day.
When I went to run I was informed that I was the winner of Fred Containers at Fleet Feet.

and then we won at pub quiz. A good day...

Fog and Sun and NASA

Went on a field trip to the North Bay where it is not as Foggy as San Francisco/Daly City.
While on a hike we ran into this vicious Standard Poodle.

Was wearing my NASA shirt and they asked if I worked for NASA and why I did not have a poodle.
Should have answered that I was an astronaut and my frequent space trips would make it difficult but was honest.

Back in San Francisco and it is very foggy.

Team Asha

I got my Saturday run started early. Saw a bunch if Indians running with shirts that said, Team Asha
Which is how I came up with the name for my cat. Made me think back to this time last year and what was going on.
Felt good going across the Golden Gate Bridge until I started grouching at these idiots and then pulled a muscle in my left leg. Did not tear anything as I was able to run.
This means that before Paul McCartney, Ice.

Summer in name only

Back in Maryland they are having the other end of the temperature spectrum from February when they were having that month long blizzard. So when they say the average temperature is 65 it includes -10 and 130.
Here in the Bay Area it is like the north of Scotland. It is good running weather but at some point, I need to remember to pack a jacket. I have a sweatshirt that at some point will be returned more as a goof.
It is amazing how my selection of a coffee shop can change the course of many people's day in big ways and small. Was discussing how 912 was the actual number that should be called in the case of an emergency, but you need to be a stone cutter.
There has been way too much news about on one end the world cup and the NBA Free agents and the other end JaMarcus Russell, Lindsay Lohan and Takeru Kobayashi.

Good Happy Hour + Sunset Run

Wanted to say that Tom did a first rate job of hosting the Happy Hour this past Friday.
It was far more fun when I did not have to worry about getting name tags.
A few more events are planned for the near future.

On Thursday Fleet Feet is doing one of their Sunset runs along one of my favorite paths

On another note, I am looking for a senior PR Director

Singapore: Where West Meets East: Densapar Airport is not a favorite of mine

OK the problem with the entry is you did not explain how much $150,000 rupaihs are worth.
It does sound like Franz Kafka International Airport

Wind

I really need to keep a jacket in the back of the Marcusmobile. The weather report said it was supposed to be in the 80's but it is very windy. Cosmo would no like as it is very windy.
Ended up getting a hoodie at walgreens.

Ikea glass top and zombieland

Please do not tell me how the last ten minutes of zombieland ends.
Was watching this movie when all of a sudden I hear this loud crash and it took a while to register but my glass shattered. Luckily neither or Asha. Was cut.
The rest of the desk is fine so I will get some sort of other material to act as a desk top.

Singapore: Where West Meets East: Marcus would love this

I do like the free beverage Mac Hine. I try to avoid sodas because that is what I see kids that cry a lot at Target drinking. Chocolate Milk is good BUT do not have before running. I will not go into details.
I am told chocolate milk is one of the best post-run things you could drink.

You can also call it a a Malinkey.
