Dancing Lego Star Wars are not the Beatles

We got up WAY too early to make our way to Dulles Airport.
I do not like to be rushed. Would rather be board than bustling.

Made our way past security theater and got breakfast at Five Guys where a Small Hamburger is more than enough.
The so and so working the cashier or should I say, cashier told me, "I know what your shirt means"
I was wearing the Star Wars/Beatles/Lego shirt. I asked for the meaning. He told me, "It is Star Wars". I then asked why they are in this order. He said in a questioned tone, "they are dancing?"

Things the Greatest Blog learned today

Learned a few things today including but not limited to
2) Little Caesars is the two buck chuck of Pizza. One of those things that people say that is idiotic is that there is no such as bad pizza. Little Caesars has a crust, cheese, sauce and it comes in a box and it is cooked and sliced but it is like a facsimile of the pizza experience.

Run and Dr Oz

Yesterday I was running around the complex. To get in extra miles I run under the buildings.
Noticed under one of the buildings that a pipe was open and it smelled bad so I went to the clubhouse to report it to the so and sos.

The TV was on and saw that it was Dr Oz. I am all for information about health being on the television but his credibility took a nose dive as he had the Long Island Medium as a serious guest.

I am thankful when someone reveals they are into nonsense (Astrology, Creation Science, Talking to the Dead) because you know you do not have to pay attention to anything else they say.

Snakes and Science and Floors

Yesterday was actually a pretty productive day.
Went on a field trip to first off East Palo Alto where I saw the Amazon showroom (Best Buy) was shut down. Went to the Mexican supermarket where I had a Super Taco for Breakfast. On the way down, I saw a flooring place. (In the process of getting my place painted/hard wood floors)
Did the science experiment where the Dutch woman measured my skull and put sensors on. Then I watched a parade of odd faces from the 1970's. Felt like I was in a Clockwork Orange.
Stopped off at the flooring spot. Met a dog that reminded me of Sophie.
While in the complex I ran across someone who was doing flooring and got an estimate. Will do that in the next few weeks.
Went for a run on San Bruno Mountain. On the course three Asian women had stopped as they saw a snake. Did not want to get eaten. We all were stopped. Eventually I slowly went by the snake. Someone told me that it was not poisonous.
Then used a snake to fix things...

Mothers Day

Today is the third Mothers day since my Mom passed. I remember hearing about the stages of grief:
Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance...

Looking back on the last few years and it kind of fit what I went through and where I am now.
I remember being very angry in 2010 from around the time of my Mom's birthday to the anniversary of her passing (June 16th)
Whenever I saw a Mothers Day Ad I would bum out ( I have since set up a gmail filter that offer for Mothers Day things gets deleted)

Chinatown Haircut

For a while, I would get my haircut in Ross Alley but once again, Will Smith had to ruin by putting him in a movie and had him raising his prices from $9 to $17.
So I have spent the last few years playing Chinatown Haircut roulette. Luckily my $5 haircut on Stockton went well. At the end I grabbed a random bottle of Sriracha and pretended it was hair products.
On BART There was some nonsense with the trains. Told some travelers to get a cab.

On Monday I did not contribute to scientific knowledge

Made my way down to 101 for a field trip to Stanford to a volunteer for a study.
Was early so I went to IKEA and was amazed at the amount of parking but realized that I was an hour early.
IKEA always makes me think I am entering the main space ship of a Swedish science fiction movie from 1984. In addition I always get lost. Reminds me of Candlestick.
Was late for my appointment and they put a thing on my head. Looked like Clockwork Orange but they could not get it working so I was sent on my way back to Clown Colony.
