Good luck, standard poodles, German Shorthaired Pointers and tumbles

Isn't being hit by bird poo supposed to be good luck? What about near misses? Had two. Not sure what impact that has on luck. 
Is Luck real?
On the way to run I ran into a Standard Poodle and a German Shorthaired Pointer that steals sandwiches. 

1,5 miles into my run, I tripped but I was too boss to go back so I finished the run even though I had blood on my knee. 
Should have gone back, 

Went to the Sports Basement for their Snow Ball thing with a bloody knee. Everyone thought I was tough...

Hitting 200,000 on a glum day

I was a bit hungover on Monday morning. 
It was raining and cold but I did not mind as we need the rain and I like blueberries. 

This years version of not drinking in January & February allows for a caveat of Sunday with Heather. Watched the 49ers/Giants game and I was as emotionally invested as a show based on Hope Floats.
Read an article about a miserable bus trip to the game.

Going to a football game seems to me to be a miserable experience but I guess that is related to the 1983 Liberty Bowl

Everyone that I came across was a bit down about the 49ers game. Guess they will not have a parade. I think every team from every league should be required to make a team song/video before the season. Imagine Donovan McNabb talking trash about how the Vikings are going to trolley the league.

Went to the Asian market where I sang Glass Onion. Wanted to give them a clue.
Picked up MB from the aeroport and was at 199,999 when I got back to Clown Colony. Hot 200,000 when I went to Chevys.

The greatest blog runs 13 miles and has Mexican but does not watch the 49ers game...

Got an early start on the long run and ran through the Presidio and over the Golden Gate Bridge into Marin and then back into the Presidio, the wave organ and back. Now I am sore. 
Baby Powder and cold water is a good friend. 
The San Francisco 49ers had a playoff game against the New Orleans Saints and as I am not 1) drinking (unless I am watching Arrested Development) and 2) not a huge 49ers fan so I did some work and cleaned my apartment. Purchased some cleaning supplies and the worst food item in the history of the world which will be on Episode 14.

The Greatest Blog 199600 and a haircut in Chinatown

Made my downtown. Had coffee across the street from the place that I saw the hit & run accident where the plate fell off. 
Used my voucher at Kennedy's and then walked through Chinatown as I wanted to get a haircut. 

Considered getting them to shave my beard but was having some language issues and I am not sure if that would be a great area to have an issue so I stuck with the haircut and then shaved when I got home.

A great start to the New Year

Yesterday I ran the New Years Day 10K in 58:35. My previous best time was in 2008 when I ran 59:33.
Last year I ran the same course 1:06 so an eight minute improvement is good. I should win next year.

A great couple of days to start the year...
