The first drink of 2008 and buying a pack of cigarettes

After running seven miles to finish February with 82.56 miles I went into the city for 1) SDN at the Chieftan and 2) The UD Pub Crawl
At Midnight my self imposed exile from drinking ends.

Someone at my first stop had a broken fred and needed cigarettes. I volunteered to go get them because in my entire life, I have never bought cigarettes. They cost $5/pack. It was not that exciting. We discussed a gang of deaf little people in communist USSR that sold stuff.

It was Critical Mass (where the first couple of pictures were taken) I am setting up a reminder to not drive in the city during those periods.

This was the last evening of my self imposed exile from drinking. Now I will need to think of something interesting/complicated when someone asks me, "what is going on.."

The second stop was Medjool which is one of those places I assume everyone was given a pill where they are having way more fun than me. Those types of places are not my scene. Not my scene at all. I was not given the play book..

After midnight a small group of survivors went to Doc's Clock where after midnight I had a shot of whiskey over ice. I wanted Chimay but the monks were not working. I got Sarah a bad bottle of sparkling wine.

As I was taking BART I went home to the South San Francisco BART station.
