Medical Advice on BART
In the 1980's during the Classic Rock Revival my sister Andrea and I went to the old post office pavilion to see Iron Butterfly.
We took the Metro. On the way back a homeless guy started telling us a long winded story about someone cutting throats and he was nice enough to demonstrate a cutting action on me.
I then convinced him that the station we were at was his stop and he got out.
A few days later I had Pink Eye.
After running, (it was a way better run around Lake Merced) I took BART to the city.
This Korean guy was asking me for my medical advice on a training injury. It must be a bad medical system if you start asking strangers for medical advice some things need to change.
I told him to put on icy hot, use bayer and not lift as much.
Then this other random guy with a cane sits down and then tells us how he is $.90 short to get off. I am quite sure he was scamming me but he took off his hat and told us a story about getting hit in the head on Sunday. I then said, "yesterday?", no, it was the previous Sunday. I gave him a $2 bill as that was all I had. The Korean guy was shocked by the existence of the $2 Bill and happily the guy left and I doubt I will get Pink Eye or hit on the head with a pipe.
Had dinner at Sellers Market. Good food but I get annoyed with a tip line on a counter order but the salad was good.
