Grand Hotel + the Richmond and the Haight are way further than I expected when I am running late.

One of the biggest influences on my musical tastes were records/8 tracks from my Brothers and Sister plus stuff I got from garage sales.
Around 1985 I got around 100 LP's for $15 and the guy drove them to my house.

Some random people came by to pick out some and Procol Harum was pointed out to me.
This led me to join Douglas Adams and John Lennon who listed them as their favorite band.

Now if you go on Facebook you can list your favorite bands. I put down among the usuals  suspects Procol Harum which I guess goes into the obscure category.
For those of you not in the know here they are

Honestly I think I could beat them all up but they are a good band.

I was listening to Salmon of Doubt and Douglas Adams mentioned a number of times how the song, "Grand Hotel" inspired him to write the second Hitchhikers book.
Could not get it on iTunes.

Went to Green Apple Books to see if they had Grand Hotel and they did not so I got a finger puppet.

Parked outside of the place I went for Dinner and walked to the Haight but it was way further but luckily Amoeba had it.
The song is quite good.
