Cosmo Don't Be a Hero
One of my first memories was driving to Upper Marlboro (or to be more accurate being Driven) in the Rambler and listening to WPGC (when it was top 40) and hearing 1) Billy Don;t Be a Hero and 2) Kung Fu Fighting. To my three year old mind, things were pretty good.
Then the songs went away. I could not understand the concept of songs becoming popular/unpopular.
In 1980, I got the 45 of the Paper Lace Version and then in 1989, I got the LP of the Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods version.
The song is also featured in Walk hard.
This entry was inspired by someone writing on my facebook wall.
My sisters dog Cosmo does not like when things are in a position that could tip over. I was walking by a Ross and I said fairly loudly, "Cosmo would no like". The person operating the crane wanted to know if he was blocking me. I then explained how Cosmo would not like. He looked at me like I was crazy.
$2.50 for green Bud Light? And that is a special? Bad Beer with artificial coloring.
As I have said, if a beverage has to advertise during the superbowl, it probably sucks.
