Weekend Report

On low tech Saturday, it was raining. Went into the city as I was going to go on an urban hike but it would be boots so I hung out in Laurel Heights as I always want to keep it real. 

Then made my out to the Richmond to go to the cinema but Across the Universe was not playing and I already had plans to see American Gangster. 

Dropped off my old mattress pad to the Salvation Army truck and went to the Serramonte Mall for maybe one of three times in the year. I feel like I am from a different planet when I walk through a mall. 

Had some odd things happen at Target. Maybe they are located in a parallel universe. I did not get my 10% off and the research I did today was even odder. Maybe I really do not need an X Box 360. Maybe Bill Gates knows what I think about Microsoft Outlook? ( I think it is the biggest piece of garbage...) and he does not want me to be able to play the Simpsons Game? Who knows but I am sure they are many parties involved. 

Made my way back into the city for my guest bar tending gig at Second Saturday and I loved It!! I do not think I will be quitting my main toil because it was an open bar and I did not have to deal with payments and the expectation of the crowd was well low.... I will do that every Second Saturday. Much fun. 

The power went out Sunday morning early. I thought I forgot to pay my power bill or our society had collapsed but the power came back on.

Went to Palo Alto for a 5 K. As I am taking it easy post half marathon I did not run the 10K. Put my pace and time was good.

Will be dog sitting Raider and Brando in Palo Alto. I like Palo Alto. 

Made my way into the city where I went to Sports Basement and got me some running trousers as the weather is getting yuck and I do not want that excuse. 

Went to the Balboa to see American Gangster. Good movie, a little long. A message to film makers, edit!
