They are 74 wineries in the Santa Cruz Mountains....
I know that. I have no idea how I know that. I did not know I knew that but someone asked and I blurted out an answer that was somehow correct and I won a bottle of wine at Vino Locale.
It was a Friday night and I was in Palo Alto for an event through Meetup. I should not write this because once this gets out, then it could ruin it but typically wine events have more women.
I puttered around Palo Alto talking to my Brother, my Sister and playing on the Macs. I am thinking of reading the Golden Compass series.
Vino Locale is located in a house right off of University. My sister Andrea coached me on what to say so I would sound sophisticated.
During one portion of the event the guy asked about the number of wineries in the Santa Cruz mountains and I yelled 74 which is somehow correct. So I got a bottle of wine. Rose Wine which is normally not my style but you need to have other types.
I got a couple of odd phone numbers calling me and I stepped out to hear that Bryan and Gwen were stuck in a Nor'easter which was kharmic fate.
When I was checking this message I saw one standard poodle and then someone else came by with a four month old standard poodle (no, I did not have my camera....)
