Safeway

Went to the Mission as I did not want to hang out with the Clown Colonist. Rode around looking for parking and as I did not want to 1) have my car broken into by heroin junkies or 2) get a parking ticket by parking in the middle of the road I paid $3.50 for parking.

Saw that 12 Galaxies, the venue named after Frank Chu's ongoing protest that has recently morphed into different number of Galaxies, was having a fund raiser for Barack Obama who is running for president of the United States. The decision of candidate that I am going to support is fairly open. For the obvious reasons many of the Republican Presidential candidates are not being considered as their scientific views are more in line with that of a 19th century metal worker than the 21st. I do like Rudy and some views of Ron Paul are good but I do not like Mitt Romney at all. Hillary bought me Pizza and Barack is my connection on LinkedIn.

My guess is the nominees are going to be Hillary and Rudy and I think Rudy is going to win.

Saw Frank Chu holding court and we discussed Gwen's move (with a Frank Chu sign) to the big apple. He mentioned that I am across 6, MAYBE 7 Galaxies but still a niche player. I gave him a ticket to Oktoberfest. He is not selling his old signs right now so if I gave you one keep them safe….

As it was a school night I left fairly early and stopped off at the Safeway. I did not have my cell phone and I could not remember Andrea's or my number so the woman behind me in queue gave me hers. Maybe I should chat her up if I could remember her number. The security guard was very excited about the lightbulbs. He was trying to be wacky so I told him he should go into comedy and he told me that he was a gentile that did comedy for the Jews in the Catskills and then he started speaking Yiddish. I am not sure I should have gotten the light bulbs as I hate fluorescent.

This morning it was raining hard and on the way out I saw this woman walking towards the shuttle. I pulled over and offered a ride in my warm dry car and she was suspicious of my intentions. She was probably fearing (and/or hoping) that I was doing the old we are out of gas bit but this was motivated for doing something neighborly. I doubt she was going to the San Jose Cyber Kitten audition. I drove her to the gas station so she could get coffee. She started telling me issues with her roommate who does not pick up stuff for her when she is at the Shoppe. We did agree that Crown Colony is not very neighborly.
