It has been five years since I have been writing "The Greatest Blog" but sometimes, my entries are a simple list of the things that I have done that day. I rarely discuss how I keep Daly City safe from the Zombies.
I will prattle on about how I ran 4.01 miles (which is the distance that I ran on what was going to be my off day) but not about the point when I decided to TURN AROUND. I would have to say that "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is the perfect pop song. Cosmo likes that song as he also likes pillow toys. He has gone to parties and has finally been given the type of toys he does not find boots. When I go to the compound to fete the rents for their 50th Wedding Anniversary I will bring Cosmo soft pillow toys.
Thought about the humor related to the queue at the Safeway in Marlton. I like going to the grocery store after the super bowl buying items and loudly announcing I am buying for my Super Bowl party and the other random patrons are trying to tell me the Super Bowl has been played.
Our first fast food joint was a Roy Rogers then it turned into Mr Bojangles and he missed his dog. Took Cosmo there and the song, "Proud to be an American" came on.
I am undecided about playing Kickball next season. I need to start upping my mileage for the half marathon. Considering joining some sort of training group but I mostly like running alone and thinking about the music. Running sans iPod is made of wood.
As the festival season is mostly over, I have no real plans on Saturday or Sunday I think. I may have signed up for something. No 5K or 10K or kickball. The next weekend loads of stuff is happening. Perhaps I could borrow Raider and Brando for some high quality Doggie time.
Maybe a pointless day trip where I could order an $8 cheese burger and a butter beer. I do not think I will go to an amusement park as I do not find that amusing.
Going to the midnight showing of Harry Potter with Lauren. Will have to explain to her that I need to sit at the end of an aisle as I do not like sitting surrounded by people. I like the option of being able to get up even if I do not. I wonder how many irresponsible parents are bringing their kids to see this film.
