Big News and observations
It would have been fitting if my package that arrived with 50 Lance Armstrong Live Strong Bracelets arrived before I got THE NEWS from Maryland.
Whatever the news was good or bad, this was one of those verdicts when they write the book on my life this was one of those major details.
It turns out the news was good. We could not have asked for better news unless Noel from 1978 leaped out of a time portal to provide comfort and help out and answer additional questions.
My Mom still has a LONG way to go but the best analogy is getting the news that the Nazis had been defeated as you walk through the rubble that was your village. The Marshall Plan seems a way off.
Strangers by the Kinks just came on my iTunes.
I imagined a conversation I had with myself from 24 hours prior, 48 hours prior. What would you want to tell yourself from a year ago?
