Things that do not work in a slow cooker

At the end of last year I purchased a slow cooker and I have mostly done vegetable soups.

Yesterday I tossed in some shrimp into the slow cooker and just so all of you know, sweet potatoes in slow cooker, fantastic, shrimp, very bad.
