Good luck, standard poodles, German Shorthaired Pointers and tumbles

Isn't being hit by bird poo supposed to be good luck? What about near misses? Had two. Not sure what impact that has on luck. 

Is Luck real?

On the way to run I ran into a Standard Poodle and a German Shorthaired Pointer that steals sandwiches. 

1,5 miles into my run, I tripped but I was too boss to go back so I finished the run even though I had blood on my knee. 

Should have gone back, 

Went to the Sports Basement for their Snow Ball thing with a bloody knee. Everyone thought I was tough...
