For the most part yesterday was real good but in the end I was LAME (called out for my Lameness...)
I did not sleep well on Friday night but I woke up in time to make it to Palo Alto for the 2008 Juana Run.
Last year I got lost on the way and it was raining so I ran at Google and talked to Katie Alton about medical school. <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0" width="198" height="145" id="Nike+ Runs" align="middle"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><param name="movie" value="http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/v1/swf/scrapablewidget/rundetail.swf" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><param name="FlashVars" value="type=individualRun&userDefaultUnit=mi&screenName=hydra1970&dateFormat=MM/DD/YY&id=344650686®ion=us&language=en&locale=en_us"/><embed src="http://nikeplus.nike.com/nikeplus/v1/swf/scrapablewidget/rundetail.swf" quality="high" wmode="transparent" bgcolor="#ffffff" width="198" height="145" name="Nike+ Runs" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" FlashVars="type=individualRun&userDefaultUnit=mi&screenName=hydra1970&dateFormat=MM/DD/YY&id=344650686®ion=us&language=en&locale=en_us" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed></object>
I felt good about my pace and was not having shin splits or stiches. Chatted up some other runners about the Nike +

Had post race pancakes which is rare. I mostly live a pancake free existance but today was different.
After leaving the race I stopped off at a Flea Market and purchased a wooden snowman.
Went to the Daly City Farmers Market. I still had my post race high and they were many great items for sale. I am no longer buying Industrial Eggs but rather free range.
Went to McDonald's for the experiment.

Later went into the city to go to Trouble Coffee and the Cellar for a bit.
Was an early night as I had to rise early from my chambers for another race.
As it was "low tech Saturday" I left my Treo at home and missed the call that the Blueberry University of Pune Alumni (Richard, Kelly, Katie, Charlotte) so I saw that I had missed the reunion and they were riding roller coasters and doing all sorts of fun things. Was called out for lameness and had to accept it.
