Santacon 2007 San Francisco Oakland
One of my favorite events each year is Santacon. The 12,100 foot view is that around the third Saturday of December a message is sent to those in the know and you are told where we are supposed to show up. It is very well organized chaos. We all showed up at Pier 39. A big part of the fun is running into football fans from Ohio or random tourists from Germany who cannot understand it and when they return to their town, they will try to tells of the Santa Mob.
We queued up for the boat to take us to Oakland. I may keep it real in Alameda as you can take the boat.
Stopped off at Beverages and More in Jack London Square. I found Noel Beer and Cosmo Beans and Sophie Vodka.
Ran into the great Frank Chu who is now up to 95,865,000 galaxies but the basic idea is still the same.
Ended up as some amazingly cool places in Oakland. I am glad we went to Oakland this year.
Took BART from Oakland to Berkeley to Jupiter. Again, happy with the choice.
