Dogs
As of right now, I did not get a dog. If you want to be part of the dog selection committee let me know.
What made me think this would be a good time to get a dog is most of the things I like to do are fairly dog friendly.
One thing I see as fairly common is charging an "adoption fee" to "find a good home" for the animal. Many of these knuckle heads put themselves in situations where they have to give up their dog or cat. Cosmo, Stellie, and Sasha was given up by someone and I am glad they looked in their life and thought I do not need this. .
I remember someone told me the story of seeing an ad for a bird on Craigslist and the "adoption fee" was $500 clams. Made of wood.
Now I do mind paying an adoption fee or making a donation or some such nonsense. They are a lot of broke people running around. I may check out what Rocket Dog or Milo has.
Would also foster a dog.
Speaking of running, I reached my goal of burning 28000 calories in sixteen weeks. I actually got it done with 35 days left so I set a new goal. Ran 4.23 miles so I am ahead of my pace a bit. I have 25 days to run 47.6 miles. I could just run to work one day but I do not think my fellow toilers would like much. I have not found the showers of Crittendon. Word on the street is they are opening a gym so then I will be able to get HUGE muscles, then when I go to the beach I will not get sand kicked in my face.
Took Raider and Brando for a walk. When they got back one of the dogs got sick on the carpet. Timing is everything. My timing has not been this bad since 1989.
I am going to say something crazy. I like the American version of the Office more than the british version but I think the best thing Ricky Gervais did is the PodCast. I need to get a PodCast going but I would not a co-host or two.
