State of the Marcusmobile

After toiling I drove a couple of my fellow toilers from the mill to the city.
One of them wanted to listen to the State of the Union which always equates to a good episode of the Daily Show.

Tp start off with, neither political party makes me think, wow, they represent my views...
Now the Republicans labels themselves as "conservatives" which has the root conserve.

and he was going about reducing gas consumption by 20% in ten years. Not ambitious and the work will be done when he will be racing cars and fighting giant spiders.
Much like his manned space flight to Mars (I am against manned space flight until they are large leaps in technology).
I am all for space exploration but there is no need to send anyone that would ever drink Tang or dehydrated ice cream.

We should have been making it a national priority years ago (having a society less reliant on oil).

Now there was a loophole which allowed a large tax deduction for the purchase of an SUV
(I am not sure if this has expired)
but you are using incentives to have people buy cars that are going to use more oil, or not conserve the resource.

Anyway as a goof we listened to the Patriot network on Sirius to hear the gushing reaction. Normally we listen to number 26 when I have passengers.

I am now older than the coach of the Raiders and the Steelers but still younger than some players.

About space flight, we are fairly close to "space tourism" but I think I will pass because I do not like Las Vegas or Dave and Busters or cruise ships, which I think the tedium of space will be broken up with drinking and gambling. I would be so wound up on the cost of the trip I would not want to gamble.
