sf360SF360 FILM+CLUB: WHOLPHIN at MEZZANINE
The next SF360 FILM+CLUB will be curated by Brent Hoff, editor of the Wholphin, the new quarterly dvd from McSweeney's. The night will feature several of the wonderful and weird shorts found on the Wholphin. Included will be shorts directed by Bob Odenkirk and Miguel Arteta as well as shorts starring Patton Oswalt and David Byrne, JC Reilly and Miranda July. There will also be a live component involving (separately) trap-jaw ants, a super-hi-speed photon camera on loan from a UC Berkeley laboratory and a presentation on the birth of squids. What does all of this add up to? The truth is that even we don't know what to expect. It all happens on Tuesday, January 16 at Mezzanine at 7 pm, and there will be free Peroni (while supplies last). Tickets are $5 and are available at the door. To reserve a spot, email info@sf360.org. SF360 FILM+CLUB takes movies out of the theater and puts them in the club. Mezzanine is located at 444 Jesse St. This event is presented by Mezzanine, Peroni and the San Francisco Film Society.
