Reference

Normally I do not get visitors but today I had two. Sasha was not a big fan.

Later I was walking to the recycle bin and one of my neighbors stopped me and asked me if I would be a reference. I asked, "for a job", he said, "no, a girlfriend". Notice the proper use of quotation marks.
I then imagined a situation where a woman with long red hair and a standard poodle puppy knocks on my door asking me about this guy.

Went running near the beach and in Golden Gate Park. Ran the end of the Bay to Breakers and visualized my finish of the race on Sunday.

Now I surprised myself and went against my programming. I had a coupon for $25 off a $100 purchase at Sports Authority. So it was like getting a free pair of running shoes when getting a pair of shoes.
Then I had a thought. I was not going to spend the money at the massive Sports Authority but rather go to Fleet Feet where they actually answer my questions and encourage me.
So far I have run 366 miles since January. Encouragement is more important than $25 when you have another 644 miles.
