Weird Question and a couple of weird things at the elevator

The Greatest Blog was getting his laundry from the laundry room at Clown Colony when I held the elevator for this woman with a bunch of bags.
She asked me if I had gone shopping. I thought it was a weird question for someone holding a bunch of laundry. I said I was doing my laundry. She had gone shopping yesterday. At that point I judged her as not a genius.

On the way up some other random had gone into the building with a roll of toilet paper around his finger. Was not going to slow down his progress. If you ever wanted to break into a building show up with a plunger or a pizza delivery box.

Not liking Facebook OR Star Wars Episode IV

Sometimes change is good but sometimes constant tinkering can take something awesome and useful into something annoying full of Ads and CGI Banthas.
I am well aware that there is no such thing as a "free" service and the bills need to be paid and things need to be "freshened" up for a new generation but right now, I am not much of a fan of either Facebook or Star Wars Episode IV.
I still remember seeing Star Wars when I was in short pants. It was far better than anything else I had ever seen. But then George Lucas kept tinkering and some stark scenes became busy with a bunch of nonsense. Hopefully Disney will restore Star Wars without the changes made since the 1997 version.

Facebook has been a useful tool for staying in touch and networking BUT their recent attempts at making money have been modeled less on Google and more on those annoying booths at Festivals where they "give away" a car in order to drum up leads for a time share business.
When you login into Facebook they say, Always free but maybe they should offer an Ad free premium account?

Mississippi/Memphis for an extra day

Spent the weekend in Mississippi visiting family and watching far and away, the most enthusiastic fans I have ever seen for a team that is well, not so great. It is like a Gentile version of the Raiders without the face paint and beat downs.
A large area of the campus called the Grove is transformed into a very high end refuge camp. As far as practical footwear that was not a high priority. Did see a Newfoundland Puppy.
The game itself was odd as the Couch kept on having his QB in shotgun and doing a hurry up offense even though they were up by around 20. Of course the other team kept back as they did not understand the concept of time.
The weather for my trip was fantastic but if I had arrived a month earlier or a day later, it would have been too hot or too cold.

Few other thoughts....
* The WalMart sold everything including Beer. (Maryland, seriously?) It was one of those nicer WalMart supercenters.
* Found everyone to be very friendly
* The talk radio was Interesting. Based on the tone of what they were saying we are a week away from a Zombie invasion.

My flight from Memphis to Houston was delayed so I ended up spending the night in Memphis.
