Run around the Lake

I will be going to club sleeping early as I will be rising from my chambers early to travel in an aeroplane to Dulles.

Went for a run around the Lake. (around 4.4 miles)
My earplugs were falling out as I was using the standard iPod ear buds. Went to Radio Shack and got new headphones.

I am so having a writers block right now. I am sure things happened that would be of interest but I am kinda sorta tired and am not churning out the best ideas. If you are having writers block, it is best not to fight it but acknowledge it.

Really tired which is good because I am going to sleep right after this.

Disconnect and a win

It seemed that my brain was disconnected. I left my wallet at home.
I left my stuff for Amoeba in the car.
I left my cell phone on the floor.

I was not solving mysterious with clues or no clues.

We won our game from forfeit.

The weather was perfect. It was one of those days that if I had a planet and I had a weather Mac Hine with only one setting, this was the weather I would choose. 

I am not someone who needs seasons. You can take your humanity and snow. 

If you lost, hurt, tired or lonely...

While running my headphones met its maker so I cut it short. I will need to get new headphones. The Apple store was being a jerk about it. 

Had volleyball and my team must have fallen down a well. Some others played with me and to be honest it was more fun because they were setting it and I could use my massive height. Soup and a short run

I made soup and well it did not turn out well. Too much chicken stock. Kind of salty.
If I had a cooking show, it would not appear as an episode. Maybe on the blooper real for the fans who buy the DVD.
Sasha may also eat a Blueberry. We mix things up around here.

This weekend I will be going to Maryland and will be taking Andrea to Whole Foods so I can show her where things are. (That is if they have it)

As the weather was nice, and I had no real plans I drove to the beach and went for a short run (even though I ran on Saturday and Sunday) at a really good clip.

Read a book at Java Beach then went to the Park Chalet who no longer have $1 beers which attracted fools and hooligans.
Then went to Green Apple Books but they did not want to buy my book. Went to the library. If you had an issue falling asleep, then this entry would make you go to sleeping.

Every since my time in Politics I am not super into politics but I did think that Michelle Obama looked fairly foxy. Maybe I could get super into politics and get a bunch of bumper stickers. I do have one supporting Stem Cell Research.

Perfect Kickball Weather.

Despite some initial grumpiness, it was a really good day. I should have known when driving to the BART station and I heard "Eye of the Tiger" and "Kung Fu Fighting". 

Put Icy Hot on my legs which I am sure went over well. 

Went to 24 Hour fitness. As I started walking to the Stadium I realized that I did not bring my cleats for kickball. 

Was annoyed with the logistics of the start of the race. They had the walkers to the left, and runners to the right. How about putting the walkers in the back? Also try not have a group of geniuses giving out water at the start line?? It took me a while to get around this but once I got running I was at a strong pace. If they put me in charge of the Olympics, I would not have them involved. 

But it was fun running through AT&T park and over home plate. I thought about playing kickball in that park. 

Walked from AT&T Park to the Little Rec field stopping in Japantown. 

The game was fun. It was perfect kickball weather. 

Drove out to Pacifica and sat on the beach. Thought deep thoughts like who was the first dog to get a Christmas present. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A day in the North Bay

I rarely go to the North Bay. I do not know my way around. My instinct did a great job with the voice GPS getting me around. 

Ran with Team in Training at the college of Marin. On my way up I was grouchy that I had to drive so far but I am glad I went somewhere else. Also got the nonsense with the forms sorted out (I do not have a working printer) 

Ran six miles at a good pace without stopping much. If I can run that pace for the halves, I would be thrilled. 

What was amazingly cool was how they set up a banner for Mom and people signed it. Seeing so many people out there working towards the goal of progress with blood cancers makes me optimistic. 

Before I run, I put Icy Hot on my legs, We were running in a group and someone announced it smelled like Ben Gay which was me. I guess most people do not do this. 

Made my way to the Shuttle Bus Stop for the Muir Woods. I waited, no UD'ers. I assumed they were somewhere else having the best time ever. 

Three people rolled up in a zip car asking for directions. I could tell they had an iPhone. I wanted to show them that my phone was far superior in the directions area. 

Once I realized that there was a vast conspiracy against me in regards to the UD event OR there was user error I used the Instinct to give me directions to the German tourist house. When walking in, its a pleasant walk down. On the way out, its a torture march. 

As I had time to kill I wandered on some of the trails. Near the end of the trail I found a cell phone. It was not fancy pants but I enjoy finding cell phones because it combines a mission, good karma and detective work. I called the owners parents. Later at the German Tourist House Cell Phone and person were reunited.
