Mozilla turns 10/Frank Chu

First off here is my prediction for tomorrow's Howard Stern show. Artie Lange is fired/quit. It's an April Fools joke. Brilliant but I figured it out. 

Today's "sick day" was used to set it up. 

For the first time in a while I went to Safeway and spinach was 10 for $10! O happy day! I got four bags. 

Got gas at Costco. At least there is more suffering around me. I guess there is a German word. In the last week I have had to do more driving than I plan on but will make it jaunts to the BART station. I may get a proper bike lock. The german term is Leitfaden. I am sure there is Google Wang in here somewhere. 

Amazingly my iTunes has never played "Born to Run" until just now. From what I understand the Boss is very short but up to this point he has not been on American Idol. I guess I should add that to my iPod Nano for running. I will be breaking the 1000 mile mark at the end of April/Beginning of May (this was from the start in February) 

I just downloaded the rest of the Gnarls Barkley album. I think if I was in a band I think I would join the Flaming Lips. Music today is pretty damn awesome. There is some crap like when people shout but this is damn good. 

Went downtown to the Mozilla ten year party. I ran into Frank Chu and let him know about it because I am sure that crowd would be Frank Chu supporters.

while walking down Market with Frank we got stopped by the Green Peace Fund Raisers. I let Frank explain his situation. 

Ran into quite a few people I had not seen in a LONG time. Maybe from the Pink Slip Parties or when I used to think launch parties were the idea of a great way to spend a Tuesday evening. I had a drink ticket and ended up spilling the beer. There goes my chance to be cool. 

There was a photo booth at the party so I went in and got my picture taken. For some reason I chose sepia. When I smiled I looked like I spent the time since Wings broke up on a coffee and cigarette binge. Ended up using that teeth whitening stuff when I got home. I am weird about my teeth. That is why I am not a Heavyweight Boxing Champion and o yeah the whole bit about not being able to take a punch or being particular fast so Bruce Seldon and Mike Weaver can sleep easier.

Weekend Report

Lately I have noticed that magazines have way too many ads. I was randomly debating this fact with other patrons of a book Store on Chestnut when we made a bet about the page the index would appear on. I said page sixty she said, 20 and it was 36 so she won. We then bet on the economist which she said was her favorite magazine. I lost $2. 

I should call the Gambling hotline and ask them if I have a problem.

On Saturday morning the mind gremlins must have disconnected my brain and rewired it to stupidville as I drove into the city with plenty of time to the total wrong side of town. Was cursing and being mister Grouchy (if you have spent anytime looking for parking with me, you may have had the pleasure of spending time with Mr. Grouch) 

I was not sure where in the Marina Green the "Tons of Fun, Love to run crowd" crowd was at so I guess the warm up equipment which was correct. I do not like running on the Golden Gate Bridge because 1) tourists, 2) cement so I chose the shorter group and then went off a bit on my own. With the Sunday Morning run I am at 256 miles for 2008. 

Spent most of Saturday in the Mission. If you keep your eyes open, you will see cool things. Even in the most mundane places (and the Mission is not) stuff will rise to the front.

Many of the pictures below are of two dogs, one big and one small. They are not cute at all. The big white ones name is Yeti. If I was a dog, I would be a Newfoundland.

Had lunch at Plutos which I wish they had one built into Crown Colony but no one ever likes my expansion plans.
